The global platforms and other member schemes you'll meet beyond SiteWise and PreQual
SiteWise and PreQual aren't the only prequalification schemes you'll come across. Avetta and ISNetworld (ISN) are global contractor-management platforms used by large and multinational clients, and there are several other Totika member schemes in New Zealand — including SHE, Pegasus and Qualify365. The good news: in New Zealand, Totika ties many of these together, so in most cases you can prequalify once through a member scheme and be recognised by any buyer that uses Totika.
A global, multi-industry prequalification and monitoring platform.
Avetta is an international contractor-prequalification and supply-chain platform used across construction, manufacturing, facilities, utilities and more. Contractors hold a subscription and submit their health, safety and compliance information once, which connected hiring clients can then review. In New Zealand, Avetta operates as a Totika member scheme, so going through Avetta can give you Totika-recognised prequalification rather than a separate, parallel process.
A comprehensive global platform with roots in high-hazard industries.
ISNetworld, run by ISN, is one of the world's largest contractor and supplier information-management platforms, with a heritage in oil, gas and other high-hazard sectors. It is known for thorough requirements — contractors often submit detailed safety programmes and metrics for review — and is most commonly encountered in New Zealand when working for large or multinational principals that use it group-wide. Like Avetta, it uses a contractor-paid subscription model.
Several New Zealand schemes deliver the Totika assessment.
Alongside Avetta, the Totika member schemes include SHE, Pegasus, Qualify365 (Safe365) and Impac Prequal. They all assess you against the same national Totika standard, so the scheme you choose is largely a matter of cost, service and fit — the resulting prequalification is recognised across Totika buyers either way. This is the whole point of Totika: one standard, many providers.
| Scheme | Reach | Typically used by |

Let your clients guide you — and avoid paying twice.
Which scheme you need is usually dictated by the clients you want to work for: if a principal mandates ISN or Avetta, that's the one you'll join. But in New Zealand, where so many of these are tied into Totika, the smart move is to avoid duplicating effort — a single Totika-recognised prequalification often satisfies multiple buyers. Before signing up to several platforms, check whether one Totika-recognised route would cover them.

Yes. SHE is one of the Totika member schemes in New Zealand, alongside others such as Pegasus, Qualify365 and Impac Prequal. They all assess you against the same national Totika standard.
Often not. Because many New Zealand schemes are tied into Totika, a single Totika-recognised prequalification commonly satisfies multiple buyers. Check before signing up to several platforms, as the schemes use a contractor-paid model and costs can add up.
Usually the one your clients require. If you have a choice, the Totika member schemes assess against the same standard, so it comes down to cost, service and fit — see our guide on choosing a scheme.
